This is exciting!

Here's to the first step of finally getting to where I want to go. I have so many goals to accomplish in my life, and I can't think of a better one to go on the top of my list: become an accomplished photographer. The whole "accomplished" thing is a lot of work away, but I'd like to consider myself a photographer already. Because being a photographer doesn't mean having all the equipment in the world (although it helps), and running a fabulous business. To me, at least, being a photographer is having an eye for creating a beautiful shot, loving the art and expression of photography, having a passion and a craving to hold a camera in your hands all the time, and being willing to learn with an open mind. I have the eye, the passion, the willingness, and the love for this beautiful art, and that's why I consider myself a photographer. I have so much to do but I know that the work of it will pay off, because after all...taking pictures of beautiful people is no "job" to me. Well now that I've spent hours upon hours trying to get this thing up and running, I'm starting to feel like a journalist rather than a photographer. I'll get some rest and return to "working" tomorrow.
